Our water-based Chalk Wall Paint range has achieved an ISO11998 Class 1 Wet Scrub rating, plus EN 71-3 certification. This means it is ideal for painting nurseries and any other interior rooms. See matching soft-satin Trim paint for skirtings and woodwork, although our wall paint can also be used on these surfaces if you prefer an ultra-matte finish.

That’s not all. Our Chalk Wall Paint range is suitable for wall tiles, powder coated radiators and a range of wood, concrete and laminate floors with the right care and maintenance. The paints are self-priming and self-sealing for stress-free preparation and application – you simply need to follow instructions on the tin.

When it comes to chalk paint colours, you’re well and truly spoilt for choice. Our UK chalk wall paint is available in everything from crisp white and off-white shades to bold navy blues and dark greens. All colours are matched in our Trim Paint range with a soft-satin sheen if you want to match your chalk wall paint on skirting boards, doors and frames.

Coverage

A 2.5l tin will provide a coat of up to 35m². For a durable finish, 2 coats are required, so your 2.5l tin should provide full coverage for approximately 17.5m² on non-porous surfaces
Thinner application may affect durability
Porous surfaces will affect the rate of coverage and require additional coats
Always ensure you have enough paint for your whole project. When more than 1 tin of the same colour is needed, it is good practice to ensure batch numbers are identical or to intermix batches prior to commencing painting
